For **application-level** open work (problems not yet implemented, roadmap Todo), see **[[expanded theory applied/Implementation status and problems#Not yet implemented (roadmap Todo)]]** and the Todo rows in **[[expanded theory applied/Applications Roadmap]]**. --- ## Recently resolved **Origin of gauge groups:** Resolved — $SU(2)$, $SU(3)$ from $K_2$, $K_3$ information matrices ($N^2-1$). See [[Graph Size Hierarchy (RST)]]. --- ## Ontological and interpretive Are [[System|Systems]] (biological, technological, social, etc.) that persist those that find more efficient ways to [[Translation|Translate]] [[Information]], evolving to maintain their [[Information|resolution]] while moving $K_R$ toward the physical limit? Or do other systems persist longer? Does each discrete [[Translation]] step correspond to a quantum of physical space? If so, spatial distance is an emergent count of relational [[Event|Events]], not a background void. **Ontic vs. epistemic resolution:** Is [[Information|resolution]] ($\sigma$) only a property of the observer's model, or does it describe the structural maintenance of the [[System]] itself? The answer determines whether RRT is a descriptive vocabulary or an ontological theory.
